The Making of Sovereign Song

This blog serves as a portfolio for my Sustained Independent Research project as a part of the MFA Advanced Theatre Practice course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Over the course of the 20/21 season, I undertook a practice-based research in order to develop a production which functioned as a community-building tool. My research culminated in a 5-week run of a live immersive production, Sovereign Song, at the COLAB Tavern. My journey through creating this immense body of work is chronicled in the following six segments. Be sure to check the appendices on each page for a deeper exploration of the content.
